One of our first decisions was to take the therapies into the heart of the community and to deliver our services in places where people gather – somewhere they felt safe and comfortable within their own settings. In community settings, there would be easy accessibility for service users. Working in the community makes it possible to reach a wider client base and keep pricing cost-effective. Some of the benefits of a managed service include:
- VISIT will provide partnership agreements with each voluntary organisation.
- VISIT practitioners will travel to the voluntary organisations to provide treatments for service users as agreed.
- VISIT will monitor and review the effectiveness of the delivery of treatments.
- VISIT will provide evidence-based feedback with a 6-monthly report to help voluntary organisations with their funding applications.
Pricing Structure
Our costs are based on an hourly rate of £20 - £25 per hour depending on the needs of each voluntary organisation. Contract bookings are negotiable depending on length of agreement and number of therapists required, for example, we can provide 3-month, 6-month and 12-month agreements for half day or full day on a weekly or fortnightly basis. VISIT workshops consist of a series of 5 and are a great introduction to complementary therapies. Each 2-hour workshop, costing £120 provides an enjoyable, fun, motivating experience and can accommodate up to 12 service users, carers or staff.
