Health and wellbeing are two key factors that impact on quality of life issues on individuals and the community. Positive health needs to be promoted and improved. Through our work in the heart of our local communities, VISIT Therapies aims to:
- Deliver sustainable services in the community, relevant to people's needs.
- Liaise with commissioners of services for people who have a connection with the voluntary sector.
- Provide information and practical support to service users, their families, carers and staff; either directly, in partnership with others, or through facilitating and supporting the work of other organisations.
- Raise professional and public awareness and understanding of complementary therapies relating to the needs of people with a connection to the voluntary sector.
- Support research into the effectiveness of complementary therapies.
